Kinesiotherapy – one of the areas of medical physical education. The method is used at the Stay Healthy Center to restore the body after injuries and illnesses.
Allows you to quickly return to a normal lifestyle, and also reduces the risk of relapses and complications of some diseases.
Kinesiotherapy helps strengthen muscles and ligaments, eliminate pain during movement: performance of complexes of active and passive movements restores mobility in the joints, increases elasticity of muscles and ligaments.
when recommended?
- with degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the spine, such as intervertebral hernias, spondyloarthrosis, osteochondrosis, spondylosis and the like;
- kinesiotherapy is used for posture disorders in adults and children (scoliosis, kyphosis);
- helps protect joints in arthritis and arthrosis;
- used after injuries and operations;
- neurologists recommend kinesiotherapy for peripheral nerve diseases and some other disorders of the nervous system.
How it works?
Exercise, which are used in kinesiotherapy, help to strengthen the muscles of the spine and the front abdominal wall. As a result, the load on the intervertebral discs is reduced (toned muscles allow you to distribute the load).
Thanks to this, the inter-articular discs of the spine can recover (under high pressure, cartilage cannot regenerate), muscle spasm disappears, associated with irritation of nerve fiber roots.
In other words, kinesiotherapy relieves the spine, improves posture, relieves back pain.
With the help of kinesiotherapy, it is possible to reduce the size of the hernia protrusion (protrusion of the hernia), and sometimes – and get rid of it completely.
Kinesiotherapy reduces inflammation (and, in accordance, pain) in the joints, noticeably increases mobility even with arthrosis, reduces swelling in the legs. Due to the restoration of blood supply, the method improves tissue recovery, including – accelerates the restoration of bone density (reduces the risk of fractures).
in addition, regular exercise improves the general condition of the body, stimulates protective mechanisms in it and contributes to the prevention of relapses of diseases.
